Tuslob Buwa is a Cebuano term which literally means ‘to dip in bubbles’.

1/8 kilo pigs brain or utak ng baboy
1/8 kilo liver or atay ng baboy (blender to crush) or liver spread.
1 clove garlic (minsed)
1 M-onion (minsed)
Butter or oil
Cornstarch diluted with warm water.
For Puso (hanging rice) Ingredients:
Young coconut leaves
*Saute garlic and onion in oil, add pig’s brain (utak) and the pork liver, stir continuously.
*Add the salted shrimp, season with salt and pepper, add water para malapot og mobuwa og maayo.
*Add diluted cornstarch. Simmer
*Turn off the heat. Serve with puso (hanging rice) and enjoy.
Hanging rice (puso) Procedure:
*Begin weaving the puso or hanging rice basket using the young coconut leaves.
*Fill the basket with raw, dry unwashed rice, about one third full.
*Makes as many puso or hanging rice as needed tie all the puso together in a bundle and immerse all the puso in large pot of boiling water.
*Boil for 30 minutes.
*Slice the puso or hanging rice in half then serve.
