Strawberry Tiramisu Recipe

Strawberry Tiramisu

Ingredients:
Strawberries:

  • 5 Cups Sliced or Chopped Strawberries
  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons Sweet Marsala Wine

Cream Filling:

  • 2 Cups Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 2 (8 Ounce) Tubs Mascarpone Cream
  • 1/3 Cup Sweet Marsala Wine
  • 10 Ounces White Chocolate, Melted
  • 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar (Confectioner’s Sugar)

Savoiardi:

  • 2 Packages Ladyfinger Cookies
  • 2/3 Cup Orange Juice
  • 1/4 Cup Sweet Marsala Wine

Garnish:

  • Sliced Strawberries
  • Melted Dark Chocolate

Procedure:

  1. Combine the strawberries with the sugar and wine in a bowl and stir to mix.
  2. Let the strawberries sit for at least 30 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then add the powdered sugar.
  4. In another bowl, beat the mascarpone with the wine until light, about 4 minutes.
  5. Add the chocolate and beat until smooth.
  6. Fold in the heavy cream.
  7. Mix the orange juice with the wine in a shallow bowl.
  8. Quickly dip each savoiardi cookie into the orange juice mixture just lightly wetting them.
  9. Arrange the cookies into a 13 x 9 inch glass dish, break the cookies as needed to fill in corners.
  10. Once you have completely covered the bottom of the pan with cookies, spread half the mascarpone cream mixture over them.
  11. Arrange the berries onto this cream mixture evenly.
  12. Add another layer of the cookies, then finish with the cream mixture, using a knife to smooth the top.
  13. Refrigerate for at least 5 hours.
  14. Cut the tiramisu into squares and arrange on plates.
  15. Garnish with sliced strawberries and a drizzle of dark chocolate.
  16. Serve immediately.

Ingredients:

  • 5 large eggs, at room temperature and separated
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, divided
  • Pinch of kosher salt
  • 1 cup plus 7 tbsp. sugar, divided
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 pounds strawberries, 6 small ones left whole and the rest sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream

Procedure:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°. Line a 12- by 17-in. rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. With a mixer on medium speed, beat egg yolks, 1 tsp. vanilla, the salt, and 2/3 cup sugar until thick and pale yellow, 3 minutes.
  2. In a clean bowl, beat egg whites with clean beaters on high speed until soft peaks form, 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Slowly rain in 1/3 cup sugar, beating until medium-stiff peaks form, 2 minutes.
  3. Fold flour into yolk mixture just until incorporated. Fold in one-quarter of egg whites to lighten batter. Then gently fold in remaining egg whites just until no streaks remain. Spread evenly in prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake cake until it’s very pale golden and slowly springs back when gently pressed in center, about 12 minutes. Loosen edge of hot cake with a thin knife, then invert cake onto a clean, smooth-textured kitchen towel laid on a flat surface. Remove parchment and let cake sit until just cool, 30 minutes.
  5. Mix sliced berries with 4 tbsp. sugar in a bowl and set aside. With mixer, beat cream with remaining 3 tbsp. sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla until medium stiff.
  6. Spread cake evenly with two-thirds of the whipped cream, then arrange sliced strawberries on top. Starting with a short side, roll cake up and set on a serving dish, seam side down. Frost with remaining cream and garnish with whole berries.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup poppy seed dressing
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 pounds chopped cooked chicken (about 3 1/2 cups)
  • 2 celery ribs, sliced
  • 1 pint fresh strawberries, halved
  • 1 avocado, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted
  • 1 (10-ounce) package mixed salad greens
  • Garnishes: avocado slices, whole strawberries

Procedure:

  1. Whisk together dressing and mayonnaise in a large bowl; cover and chill 30 minutes.
  2. Add chopped chicken and next 5 ingredients to dressing mixture, gently tossing to coat. Serve over mixed salad greens. Garnish, if desired.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup white rum
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 (12-ounce) can limeade concentrate, thawed and undiluted
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • 6 lime slices (optional)

Procedure:

  1. Place first 4 ingredients in a blender; process until smooth. Add ice; process until smooth.
  2. Serve immediately; garnish with lime slices, if desired

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream

  1. Blend half of strawberries, 1/4 tsp. vanilla, 1 cup ice cream and 2 Tbsp.
  2. milk in blender until smooth.
  3. Pour into 2 glasses. Repeat with remaining strawberries, vanilla, ice cream and milk. Serve immediately.
