Pepper Steak Recipe



INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 1/2 lbs round steak
  • 1 clove garlic or 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 16 oz. can diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 medium onion – thinly sliced
  • 1 medium bell pepper – sliced
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Slice meat in thin strips about 2″x 4″
  2. In a large skillet over high to medium high heat add oil and brown meat
  3. Drain excess fat and add all other ingredients
  4. Bring to a boil
  5. Reduce heat, cover and simmer at least 1 hour or until meat is tender
  6. Can cook much longer as long as the lid stays on and temperature is low
  7. Mine cooked for at least and hour and a half
