Masarap Na Baked Mussels Recipe



INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 kg large mussels
  • grated quickmelt cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 5-6 cloves garlic (finely minced)

Masarap Na Baked Mussels Recipe

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Place fresh mussels in a container with water. 
  2. Cover the lid and allow mussels to expel sand and sea water. 
  3. Change water, wash and drain.
  4. In a large pan, boil 1/2 cup of water and add mussels. Cook until mussel shells are open.
  5. Remove from pan and drain excess water.
  6. In another pan, saute garlic in butter. Use this and brush it on the boiled mussels.
  7. Top mussels with quickmelt cheese.
  8. Bake for 3-4 minutes at 350F.
  9. Serve and enjoy!
