Chopsuey Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 kg. chicken breast
  • Chicken Liver
  • 1/4 kg. Shrimp (optional)
  • 1 doz. Quail Eggs (optional)
  • 4 pcs. carrots, sliced 
  • 1 med size cabbage, sliced 
  • 2 pcs. chayote, sliced
  • green beans, sliced 
  • 8 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 ½ tbsp. oyster sauce 
  • 1/4 pack cream of mushroom 
  • 6 tbsp. cornstarch in 1 c. water, mixed 

Saute:

  • Vegetable Oil
  • 1 c. onion, diced 
  • 3 cl. of garlic, diced 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Cut chicken into slivers
  2. Saute Garlic and Onion
  3. Put Chicken and let cook for about 1 minute
  4. Put Chicken Liver and Shrimp and let stand for 2 minutes
  5. Add Soy Sauce and Oyster Sauce and simmer for 2 minutes
  6. Add Chayote and Carrots, let stand for 4 minutes
  7. Add the remaining vegetables
  8. Pour in the cream of mushroom and cornstarch diluted in water
  9. Voila! Serve hot and Enjoy!
